Teenage Mutant Turtles star Chris Pine, who has been a fan of the sci-fi franchise since childhood, revealed he had finally finished filming the sequel, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
“I’ve been waiting on this movie for a while,” he told the Daily Mail.
“It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.
It’s an amazing journey.
I’ve watched it and I’m so proud to be able to finally be there.”
Chris Pine, whose first appearance in the first movie was in 2005’s ‘Turtles’ reboot, said he has spent months developing the film’s plot and characters.
“It’s a beautiful film,” he said.
“I was a huge fan of it from the start.
I loved it.
I’m an absolute fan of George Lucas.
It has a wonderful story and it’s been a huge honour to work with him.”
Star Wars: A New Hope opens on November 17.
