Car rental company Carrentals has opened a car rental store in Melbourne.
Carrenters owner Andrew Kiely said the company would be located in the former Bankstown Motor Garage at the corner of King Street and King Street.
Mr Kielys said it was not yet decided whether the store would operate independently or with a partner.
“I’m not sure if it’s going to be a car shop, but certainly we’re looking at doing that,” he said.
“We’ll look at it.”
The car rental site will also be open to the public.
Carrenters website has not been updated.
A spokeswoman for Carrents said the car rental service would operate as a full service, self-contained car rental shop.
“Our aim is to provide the best car rental experience possible,” she said.
“We are working closely with the local authorities, the City of Melbourne and Victoria Police to make sure our services are compliant with the laws and regulations.”
