A car rental company is warning customers they can expect to pay more in rental fees this holiday season, as the season begins in earnest.
The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) is warning owners that they can save $20 to $50 per month if they rent a car online.
The company, which specializes in renting cars for home use, says customers should look for a car rental in their area.NADA said it is working to improve its customer service, as it expects to continue to see more and more cars being rented online.
The group said its customer satisfaction rate rose 9 percent from a year ago, and that the company saw its largest increase in the past five years.
The NADA has been criticized in recent years for charging exorbitant fees to customers for car rentals.
In November, NADA said a surge in cars being returned by customers after being rented out had resulted in a $25 million settlement.
In February, Nada said it was investigating whether some companies were charging exceedingly high fees for renting cars.
